Version 1.0.3 (Maintenance) - February 28th 2008
Several fixes, localizations, and small tweaks.
- Fixed crashes and failed burns caused by compatibility issues between smoke and many graphics cards
- Fixed a Core Graphics problem that caused unnecessary logging to console
- Fixed crash when attempting to burn multiple copies of a disc
- Fixed a crash on startup when Disco was launched on a mac without a build in disc burner
- Fixed a variety of other crashers
- Fixed graphical glitches that appeared with Leopard
- Fixed issue where transparency settings were not always used
- Fixed issue where window shadow would not be drawn properly on a cold launch
- Removed the redundant burn confirmation step after reburn was clicked
- The second batch of localizations:
- Many fixes in French and Spanish
- Added support for: German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Russian

Version 1.0 (Final Release) - February 12th 2007
We would like to thank all of you who downloaded, and especially those who bought Disco for their support and feedback again. We greatly appreciate your involvement and think that Disco wouldn't be what is has become without your input.
- Disc Naming has been greatly improved
- Redesigned the disc name field editor to be easier to see
- Added the ability to have Disco warn you when burning an untitled disc
- Added the ability to auto-append the date in international format to untitled (or all) discs
- There is no longer a character limit on names
- The disc name field now resizes with the window width
- Discography has gone trough some major improvements (again)
- Discography has been moved to a Core Data back-end
- Indexes of previous versions of Disco are automatically imported
- Drastic speed improvements where made for both indexing and loading of indexes
- Spanned burns are now correctly indexed by Discography
- Audio CDs are now also indexed by Discography
- Listing of indexed discs now includes burn date
- Conflicts with discs having the same name in Discography are resolved
- Discography now properly updates the index list to reflect the latest burns
- The index list is now sorted by date, and the result lists are sorted by name.
Double clicking on a disc now only shows result for that specific disc
- Smoke now works on almost any Quartz Extreme capable Mac
- Based on your machine configuration, Smoke will enable or disable advanced options
- General stability and performance of Smoke has been improved

- You can now minimize the Disco window while burning
- The file list view is now resizable
- Preferences have been redone, now contains a burning pane
- The default interface transparency has been decreased

- Issue where imaging or storing a large disc would hang at 99% has been resolved
- File size calculation speed and accuracy have been improved
- This fixed an issue where Spandex discs would have to much data burned to it, creating a coaster
- This greatly improved the speed of Discography indexing
- This solved numerous smaller issues
- Burning progress is now accurate for dual layer DVDs
- Sensitivity of motion sensor issues have been resolved
- Motion sensor preference has been turned off by default
- Fixed and issue where the name of a disc sometimes could be determined
- We now have support for .toast disc image files
- Full Unicode support has been added for displaying/copying/imaging/indexing discs with unicode characters
- Numerous occasional coastering issues have been fixed
- Fixed an issue where hitting Reburn before the previous disc was mounted would not eject disc
- We added a tooltip to the disc name label in the Disc Info view to ensure long disc names can be read.
- We have made many small memory and cpu usage optimizations
- We added custom professionally created sounds effects, for when a disc was burned successfully and for a coaster

- Spandex has been greatly improved and introduces a new "just works" principle to the whole process
- Spandex will now nest itself as deep as possible to ensure that your data can be spanned in almost any case
- Discography has also been greatly updated and now offers full media cataloging
- History view of Discography now shows a list of previously burned discs
- You can now navigate to the contents of a burned disc from the history view
- You can now index an older disc, or a disc that was not burned with Disco
- This can be done by going to the Disc menu and choosing the Index menu option
- This can be done by using the Add Disc button next to the search field in Discography
- You can now remove discs from the history view
- A disc based of a disc image is now added to Discography
- Discography index count now always accurate
- If enabled, files inside a created disc image are now properly added to Discography
- Includes the Sparkle software update framework for smooth software updating
- Drastically enhanced help files
- We have reset the trial burns for all public beta 2 users, and we have upgraded the amount of trial burns to 7
- The Disc menu now has options to Append To or Copy a disc when it's finished burning
- The Disc menu now has an option to go to the Disc Info view
- This can be done when a disc is finished burning
- This can be done when in custom files view dealing with appendable discs, you can go back using the Append menu option
- The Disc Complete view now has a New button allowing you to create a new disc
- You can now open and add files using the File Open menu option
- When the total time of audio files doesn't fit on an audio disc we now default to a file disc
- Fixed several issues with burning audio CDs
- Fixed an issue where quitting when you where in the insert disc view, leading up to a burn, wouldn't ask for confirmation
- It is no longer possible to burn a disc that doesn't contain anything
- Disco now checks if it is already launched to prevent two copies to run at the same time
- We now show the current burning speed in the Burner Info window
- In the custom file view items now have a tooltips showing the full file name and location
- Disco now chimes when a burn is successful
- The scroll-bars now properly change opacity when transparency is turned of in preferences
- We now make sure to remove the dock badge when Disco is quit
- Disco no longer allows multiple copies to be open at the same time

- Added a preliminary help file
- Now only successful burns count as trial burns
- Resets trial burns for all public beta 1 users
- When copying an Audio CD, track order is maintained
- Creating a Video DVD based of a VIDEO_TS folder is now done properly so that home DVD players can play them
- Names and spaces are now always capitalized and replaced with underscores
- We now add the ISO9660 file system to DVDs
- A disc can now be ejected by the command+E keyboard combination, or by going to the Disc menu
- Erasing a CD/DVD-RW can now also be accessed by the Disc menu option
- Spanning now properly handles ejecting all discs and mounting the final disc
- Burning CUE/BIN files has been improved
- Fixed the issue where the disc name was not preserved if the ready to burn step was cancelled
- The burner info now immediately updates for the drive selection made in preferences
